Meal Replacement shakes can help you get and stay lean & trim and improve eating habits. By Tony DeFrancisco, wellness coach

I first used meal replacement shakes back in 1974 in an effort to help me reduce from 190 lbs to 165 lbs for powerlifting events.  This was unheard of back then. No one that I knew was doing this and many people even suggested that it might be dangerous.  I used it and it worked admirably. My weight dropped to the 165 lb class for the powerlifting event. I lost weight with only marginable strength loss. Actually broke two state records that day that were set at the world championships the year before by a world champion.  I was sold on meal replacements as a viable way to lose weight safely without deprivation.

Our local wrestling coach started using the protein shakes for his team. Previously wrestlers could make weight were weak and tired from the process. One wrestler even had to withdraw from a major tournament due to cramping from electrolyte losses. With the meal replacements his wrestlers made weight, felt fantastic and no cramps.

In 1976 I was retired from powerlifting and no longer training 4-5 times per week.  I began marketing and using a weight loss product that was the first official high protein meal replacement. Little did I know that while I was experimenting with meal replacements in 1974,  another man was also experimenting with meal replacements in Jacksonville, FL through his gyms. It was called magic powder and gym members lost weight like crazy. My weight had risen back to over 190 to over 200 lbs. Using this product, my weight dropped to 175 very quickly.  Others who used this product experienced the same results. One of my buddies lost 75 lbs very quickly. This product became known as Slender Now.

So the big  question is why do these meal replacements work? There are several reasons.

* Concentrated Nutrition – a lot of protein, very low calories

* Easy to make. Throw in a blender. Takes minutes and it’s ready.

* Protein is filling. Fills you up without filling you out

* No need to count calories. Who has time for that?

* No need to plan meals. Meal replacements are balanced. It is done      for you.

* Total Nutrition. Provides protein, carbs, essential fatty acids,              vitamins and minerals, fiber, botanicals and more. BUT be wary of  the meal replacement you use. Not all are complete.

* Can be mixed with water.  Easily accessible.  Don’t recommend    using  dairy products.

* Can add fruits. My favorite is to throw in a handful of strawberries

* Tastes delicious. Easy to digest.  If it tastes good you will look  forward to taking it. Easily digestible, You feel light, not bloated.

*Very Portable. Mix your shake at home, put it  in a thermos and so  easy to take with you wherever you go.  What could be easier?

The most advanced meal replacement product, in my opinion is Body FX. Created by the same man who created Slender Now back in the 1970s.

These are sometimes called bio-engineered meals because it contains the macro nutritients in the right portions.

Let’s talk about the bio-engineered meals. This product contains bio-genetically correct macronutrients in a time released formulation (releasing nutrients into your bloodstream for a full six hours) to provide calorie reduction, and is a delicious meal replacement.  Scientists have found that eating too much fat is not a primary factor for gaining fat. An over consumption of refined carbohydrates is the primary reason for becoming fat. The fashionable low calories and high carbohydrate   diets  that consist of breads, cereals, grains (and have a high glycemic index) are the real fat gaining demons of today.

This product was formulated to counteract the problem of excessive insulin secretion from over sensitivity to high glycemic index foods that comprise the modern diet, and to lower your internal set point.  This is a genetically correct food that supplies a constant ratio of protein to carbohydrates to fatin their preferred bionutritional form for losing excessive body fat. The ratio is 50% low glycemic carbohydrates, 30 percent biologically usable protein, and 20 percent essential fatty acids.

As an aside, this product also tastes delicious. Why do people overeat? For taste right. Now they can eat a biologically engineered food that is good for them, supplies the macro nutrients in the right order and tastes fantastic. And they will be getting nutrition in a time released fashion, not  just one shot. This curbs hunger and keeps you nourished all day long.

Great for people who suffer from milk allergies.  This shake can be mixed with water.

The early versions of meal replacements and many programs still marketed today, use milk.  This is a horrible choice for those who suffer from lactose intolerance (milk allergies)  To make matters worse, many people use whole milk which is too high in calories and fat. Even 1% or 2% milk is not that good for you. Skim milk looks diseased.  Better to stay away from milk.  Our product provides as much protein as the other shakes which require milk and can be mixed with water and tastes absolutely thick and delicious.

The bio-engineered meals are meal replacements that are truly delicious, time released and properly balanced in the proper ratio of carbohydrates, protein and essential fats. Also contains micro nutrutients, vitamins and minerals, herbs and digestive enzymes.  You have never experienced anything like this and I challenge you to find another meal replacement that even comes close.

New Slim Balm is making losing weight easier than ever. By Tony DeFrancisco, Weight Control Consultant

I
trust everyone is having a fantastic summer. As we are into August and summer is winding down, fall will be upon us very soon.

For those of us who are Floridians, summer-like weather will last untill October November. So it is still shorts and warm weather clothing.

My main reason for contacting you is to let  you know how things are going. I have a gentleman who weighed 300 lbs. He told me he had to lose weight or order a coffin. He lost 30 lbs in his first month. Second month he lost over 50 pounds. He looks like a new man and cancelled his order for a coffin. Instead he has ordered all new clothes and took a trip to Hawaii.

A lady lost 22 lbs in three weeks.

Others are losing up to 30 lbs in 30 days, look great and are never hungry.

I lost 20 lbs this summer on top of the 55 lbs I had lost earlier. My big achilles  heel as many of you who know me are aware is sweets especially chocolate. I started using a new product called Slim Balm. This is the first transdermal product that reduces your cravings for sweets.  When I heard that, I knew I had to try it. Glad I did. I am sharing it with others like my friend Bill as mentioned above who lost 75 lbs in 2 months.

I am also working with another meal replacement shake in addition to the Herbal shake that many of you are on. This one is unique in that it can be mixed with water and creates a thick, delicious shake that tastes incredible. Think about it; why are people overweight? Because food tastes so good right? Imagine eating, or in this case drinking a low calorie nutritionally balanced shake that actually tastes delicious. You can eat yourself thin as Bill and many others have been doing.

This shake also provides on average 50% of the USRDA of the essential vitamins and minerals and is loaded with herbal nutrients. I have never seen a shake so complete as this one. And it is very inexpensive. Under $40 per canister.

A side benefit of the Slim Balm  is pain relief.  The essential oils and aromatherapy have a calming effect on people suffering from pain related stress. You will also be relieved to know that this product is very inexpensive. Only $19.99. For less than $20 you get a quality product that eliminate your desire for sweets.

Slim Balm-This is a new product. If you have a lot of weight to lose you may still get hunger pains. This goes on like chapstick for men or lipstick for women. It kills your appetitite. One gentleman  started to use this product earlier this year. Weighed 320 lbs and lost 40 lbs in 2 months.

On your lips and off your hips………….

http://superfitness.slimbalm.com/

While I always recommended that people use water with the Herbal shake, many reported that it tasted bland that way. Not with this shake!  When it tastes great, you will drink every day, twice a day without fail.

This shake also makes you feel full and is priced lower than the Herbal shake. It comes in two flavors. Vanilla and chocolate.  You have to try this one. You’ll love it.  No gritty taste. Doesn’t stick to your blender or glass.  The best of money and science has come together to create this awesome product.

Another product my clients are using is a cellulite and fat removal drink. It is similiar to celluloss except you mix it with water and drink it. It is delicious. Gets rid of cellulite on women, love handles on men fast. Available in lemon or orange flavors. Perfect for ladies who have difficulty dropping weight and inches and hit plateaus often. You’ll love this product.

The other product I am working with a is internal cleanse that completely cleans the colon in a easy to take pill.  This is primarily a health product that everyone should be one. I was feeling and looking bloated untill using this.  A lot  of products claim to cleanse the system but really don’t.  It’s not how much nutritition you take in, it is what you absorb.  By cleansing the system,  your body absorbs and uses nutrients you take in.  It also affects weight loss.

Not all products are created equal. Some are better. These are the best.

Why Diets Don’t Work. How to really lose 30 lbs in 30 days and keep it off forever. Pt 4 By Tony DeFrancisco, wellness specialist

In parts 1,2 and 3 we discussed why traditional diets don’t work. We also discussed why even exercising with dieting doesn’t work for most people. The fact is, most people are too far out of shape to set off the metabolic fire with exercise. It takes too long.  And there are many people who are handicapped in some way who cannot exercise.

I work out at LA Fitness here in Winter Park, FL. I see many people who have been coming in for years. Some make some initial results and then quit.  It simply takes too long to keep them interested.

That said, there is nothing that will add years to your life or life to your years better than regular exercise.  If you can do it, I highly recommend 3 weight training and cardio workouts a week, as long as you can do so safely. Also be sure to get a complete medical checkup and a bill of health from your doctor before engaging in any exercise program.

We also  discussed the components of the program I am suggesting here which includes 1)A thermogenic generator, 2) A cleanser, 3) Bioenginereered meals 4) A powerful fat blocker, 5) Thermic Vegetables, 6) Your own personal wellness coach.

Obesity hurts more than your appearance.

In part three, we went into depth about the cleansing product and why it is so important to cleanse your colon.  Overtime junk builds up in your system, clogging it and preventing your body from absorbing good, quality nutrients.

Many years ago, I worked at our local hospital in a small town in Pennsylvania. On my way out the door, I was passing the morgue enroute to the parking lot. A forensic doctor stopped me and invited me into his “office’ (the morgue) He had a corpse laying on the slab and a pile of gook on top of a scale. He told me that that the pile of gook was the deceased colon. Then asked me how much I thought a colon weighed. I guessed around 10-12 lbs. He said it should be about half that but the deceased colon weighed over 125 lbs. Then he told me that the deceased family was concerned as to why this young man died (he was only in his 30s) Well duh!

This doctor knew I was into health and nutrition and thought I would be interested in this. I was. Fascinating. I never forgot it.  Shortly thereafter, I began eating high fiber foods and taking herbal cleansing products.  Nothing has worked as well as this product however.

When I was 6-7 years old, back in the 1950s, my father found a hole in wall with plaster coming down. He desperately wanted to fill it up but had nothing available to use. This was late on a saturday night and in the 1950s, there were no 24 hr stores like we have now. So my dad asked my mom for some white flour. Dad mixed it with some water in a bowl, used a putty knife and filled the hole. He waited awhile while I watched.  I didn’t think it would work. Dad asked me to come over, balanced me on a ladder and with my little hand, I felt the white flour in the wall. It was as hard as a rock!

Then I started to think if that white flour does that to a wall, what does it do inside our bodies? My mom was a great cook and a great baker and we ingested a lot of white flour foods.  While my parents tried to convince me that the human body is much different that a wall, the fact is that we absorb and maintain much of that white flour over time in our bodies.

Sometime ago, I met a powerlifter/bodybuilder who was ingesting a popular protein shake mix promoted in the magazines and sold through stores. Over time, this powder laid like cement in his stomach. He found out that the product contained a lot of white flour and other indigestible factors. Doctors suggested surgery.  Instead he went on a program of drinking aloe vera,  a colon cleanser, high fiber foods and  over weeks broke down this junk. He said eliminating it was like crapping bricks.  But he was glad to get rid of it.

The average person has 7 – 25 lbs of undigestible red meat in their system.

Aside from white flour, there is also the red meat factor which many of us have heard about. Question: Are you doing anything about it?

We also talked about set points and why people who do  not getting results are not cheating and why it is not their fault. There are other forces at play here.

Now let’s talk about the bio-engineered meals.

Fat blocker-gives fat a a one way ticket out of your body. When you are not absorbing dietary fat, you’re using up stored fat. This unique blend of fibers not only keeps dietary fat from being absorbed, but also helps support  healthy blood sugar. This is your best friend and fat and cellulites worst enemy.

Why you need to lose fat, not just weight.

A new plan for reducing, safely and keeping it off forever.  Your body will thank you for this.  In the years to come, this will become a household name.

The program known as Suddenly Slim which is sweeping the nation. There is nothing else like it, anywhere.

How this system works…….

You take one or two bioengineered meals per day.  This food provides 50% low-glycemic carbs, 30% biologically usable protein, and 20% essential fatty acids. These are the good fats everyone forgets about…and it shows.

Then you take the special thermogenic formula 2-3 times per day to gently and safely charge up your metabolism.

You take the herbal cleanser 1-2 times per day but especially before your main meal and before you go to bed at nigh with a large glass of water.

And you take a fat blocker drink before your main meal and as a inbetween snack. I take it twice a day and can’t be without it.  This is a delicious and as my wife says a “very refreshing” drink. Tastes like a thick slurpee. Only good for you. This combines with the herbal cleanser but most importantly gives fat a one way ticket out of your body.  This helps fat from being absorbed and also maintains blood sugar levels.

You eat one colorful meal per day.  A balanced meal and real foods; meat, fish, poultry, and fruits.

Drinks lots of water.

Diet Balm-This is a new product. If you have a lot of weight to lose you may still get hunger pains. This goes on like chapstick for men or lipstick for women. It kills your appetitite. One gentleman  started to use this product earlier this year. Weighed 320 lbs and lost 40 lbs in 2 months.

I have tried many diet programs. This one has been a joy to be on. Feel  great. Eat real foods and get rapid results. Doesn’t get any better than this.

Why Diet’s Don’t Work. How To Really Lose 30 lbs in 30 Days and Keep it off forever. By Tony DeFrancisco, Weight Control Consultant

In parts 1 and 2 we discussed why diets don’t work and some of the issues dieters have. We discussed setpoints and the fallacy of just eating less calories.  We also discussed why exercise and diet alone does not work. And why certain foods work better than others. Certain supplements were also     discussed along with a particular kind of vegetables called “Thermic Vegetables”  These burn more calories than they contain.

Let me also address a question that came up about exercise. If you have read any of my linkedin articles, you know that I am a devout beleiver in regular exercise.  Nothing will add years ot your life and life to your years as well as exercise. My point was and is that if diet and exercise is all you have to do to lose weight, then how come so many who attend health clubs and diet are having so much difficulty losing weight?

I have been weight training since 1964. Ran a chain of gyms in the late 1970s and early 1980s. I still workout 3 times per week at least. I believe strongly in it, however, it is not a panacea to weight loss.

I saw it in my gyms in the 1970s. People would come in and workout, diet but still didn’t get their desired results. After months of this, they gave up in frustration.

In 1974 I first began using protein powders as a meal replacement. As far as I knew, no one else was advising this. All weight trainers, bodybuilders and powerlifters used protein powders as a supplement, never as a meal replacement. In an attempt to drop my weight from 185-190 lbs down to the 165 lbs class for powerlifting events, I experiemented with protein shakes. They worked like magic. It was concentrated protein. Had as much protein as a steak or six eggs but without the calories or fat. The weight melted off me, I made weight but unlike other diets I used, I lost no noticeable strength.

In 1976 I began marketing a Hi Protein Weight Loss Meal Replacement product called Slender Now. It was better than my self created system and people got incredible results. Those who could not lose weight any other way saw dramatic results. Like losing 50lbs, 100 lbs or more. A buddy weighed 350 lbs and lost 75lbs in a few months.

People in my gyms who used the program got the best results.

As I mentioned previously, I have always had a weight problem. At 7 years of age I was awarded the dubious award of heaviest boy at our family reunion. At age 13 I started lifting weights and even though I only weighed 98lbs, I was soft, flabby and with a potbelly.

In high school, I continued to lift weights, was on the wrestling team, ran 2 miles every day and was still fat with big hips as one of my old school chums put it.  So my purpose here is to let all of those who have tried in vain to exercise and diet only to fall short, you are not alone.

We also discussed the loss of lean tissue. On typical diets that is the primary weight that is lost, lean tissue and water and very little fat at all. Why is this important. You want to lose fat. Fat is what causes heart attacks and other illnesses along with being unsightly.

Lean tissue on the other hand gives a man an athletic look and a woman curves and shape. Lean tissue also burns calories even at rest. The more lean tissue you have, the less chance of adding fat later on. And the faster you will lose the fat you have.

This also partially explains the yo-yo syndrome. As diets lose lean tissue, their bodies have a tendency to store more fat. Even if they lose weight, they look like smaller fat people. Also keep in mind that fat weights less than lean tissue.

Most importantly, if you lose too much lean tissue your body will turn to it’s own lean tissue for nourishment as with the fad liquid protein diets of the 1970s.

I recommend to my clients that they no only weight, but also measure themselves and take a before picture when they start their programs.  Also get a body fat analysis done. Most health clubs can do this for you and now even grocery stores like Publix have the Higi machines which take your blood pressure, pulse, heart rate, your weight, your body fat percentage and tell you what you should weight and what your ideal fat to lean tissue ratio should  be. I highly recommend these.

In part 2 we also discussed a dynamic fat burner that creates the necessary therogenic action you need to lose weight, fat weight.  It should be noted that this gently and safely stimulates the metabolism. Unlike the dangerous fat burners of the 1990s which used the aggressive and dangerous ephedra.

Another key to help those who want to lose those excess pounds and keep them off forever is a candida/parasite/toxin cleanser.  If you cave sweets you are no doubt loaded with candida albicans. This product neutrilizes those little rascals. Once again, if you have tried various programs to lose weight int he past and they failed, it is not your fault.

This product provides    state of the art cleansing, eliminates waste and toxins to produce a new  you on the inside. A toxic body is a sick body. When the body is in a toxic state, the metabolish is sluggish. A person is less energetic, less likely to exercise, and often overeats and eats the wrong foods.  Their digestive process is slowed and becomes increasingly inefficient.  at eliminating waste materials., which tends to accumulate in fat cells, block metabolic pathways and damage liver cells and damage liver cells and prohibits the process of losing excess weight.

This product was developed to lessen the body’s toxic load. It is a natural, high fiber, botanical formula for cleansing detoxification, purificiation and elimination. It helps to normalize the intestinal microenvirommment. It helps bind endotoxins and decreases fecal stagnation. It also helps to eliminate toxic and pathogenic factors from the gut and controls a leaky gut that allows toxic materials to enter the body through the intestinal tract.

This product can and does reduce unsightly abdominal bloating and the reduces the appearance of your waistline, looking smaller and trimmer., thereby supporting your weight management efforts. In addition, it protects the liver from a toxic overload of the very poisins which it detoxifies and in doing so  encourages the growth of healthy new liver cells, improving the overall function of the liver. And it contains a group of special  fatty acids and botanical agents which help eliminate harmful microorganisms, fungi such as candida albicans, and a wide assortment of toxic factors and system clogging debris.

People often ask me, “Tony, I am already eating a high fiber diet. Isn’t that enough?” The answer is no. Read through the above description again. There are no foods than can accomplish all this.  Before going on this product, I was eating high fiber foods and taking another brand of herbal supplement that purported to do the same thing.  No way. I got a complete cleansing with the product above. There is nothing else quite like it, anywhere.

This is me weighing in at 235 lbs some time ago struggling with another program and down from 255 lbs.

This is me in a picture taken last week with my weight now down to 181 lbs after being on this program for only 4 weeks. I lost 31 lbs, 35 total inches and 6  1/2 waistline inches.

Success!!!! 181 lbs. This is the first time I have seen this weight in nearly 40 years. And I do workout all the time and watch what I eat.

How this system works…….

You take one or two bioengeneered meals per day.  This food provides 50% low-glycemic carbs, 30% biologically usable protein, and 20% essential fatty acids. These are the good fats everyone forgets about…and it shows.

Then you take the special thermogenic formula 2-3 times per day to gently and safely charge up your metabolism.

Why Diets Don’t Work. How to really lose 30 lbs in 30 days and keep it off forever. By Tony DeFrancisco

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-diets-dont-work-how-really-lose-up-30-pounds-days-defrancisco?trk=prof-post

Here are some others who have lost pounds and inches with this incredible NEW program:

In part one, we went through many details about why dieting doesn’t work and/or why people who do lose weight are unable to keep it off.

I am uniquely qualified to talk about weight loss because I have been fighting the battle of the bulge all of my life. When I was 7 years old, I was the recipient of a dubious award at our family reunion as the heaviest child in our family for our age group and for several age groups above mine.

When I was 13 years old, I began weight training and was a 98 lb weakling only with a twist. Even at 98 lbs I was soft, pudgy and had a pot belly.

I have easily lost over 1,000 lbs in my lifetime. The same 1,000 pounds. Lose 25, gain back 30. Lose 35 lbs gain back 40.

Not long ago I found myself weighing 255 lbs.. That is a lot of bulk on a small 5ft 4  1/2-inch frame.  I was having breathing issues. Getting out of the car was very difficult. My clothes were extremely tight and I was constantly replacing my clothes with newer larger sizes. I felt like I needed to buy elastic pants.

So when I say things about overweight people I am not making fun. I have been one of them and still not skinny.  I’ve never had to run around in the shower to get wet.

So I know how hard it is to lose weight and more importantly, keep it off. Those pounds always seem to find a way of creeping back on again. And so much quicker than when they came off.

Some people say, “Losing weight is easy. All you have to do is diet and exercise” In theory, that is correct. In reality, not necessarily. I work out at LA Fitness here in Orlando, FL  and have seen many members come in for 5 years. They were pudgy when they started, trimmed and toned a little, but no real long term results. Some had significant results and then gained it all back again. I was also in that group, until recently.

The average American diet lasts about 72 hours before dieters get frustrated and quit. Some last longer. But not much longer.

In part one we discussed some of the science of the new program that I am using. We also discussed some of the dangers of being overweight.  Aside from being unsightly, every excess pound of fat shortens life and causes illness. It is only not pretty, but bad for you.

We also touched on yo-yo dieting.  Researchers have found “yo-yo” dieting may be as bad for you as too much weight in the first place. It is also well documented that being overweight catalyzes the degenerative diseases of aging and shortens an otherwise healthy lifespan. With data like this, it is no wonder why so many Americans are frustrated, discouraged and literally sick from diet failure.

Another issue is that while losing weight every pound of weight loss is replaced with 1 1/4 lbs of water. This is a built in governor to prevent you from losing weight too fast BUT…. is very frustrating to the dieter.

We also debunked the theory that overweight is merely a case of  just over eating. In fact, many experts seem to agree on a new viewpoint on obesity. Until recently, the major cause of being chronically overweight was erroneously  believed to be over eating. If this were the case, however,  excessive body fat could easily be eliminated as a major debilitator of health just by cutting back on portions of food. But this is not the case. There are obviously other factors at work such as genetic code, environmental  challenges and social influences.

Anyone who has dieted for any length of time knows that merely cutting back on calories does not cut it. And when you cut back on calories, you also cut back on nutrition and suffer the dieters plaque; hunger pangs, tiredness, irritability, nervousness and more. People on typical diets look tired and haggard. Some on extreme diets look like death warmed over. This is very frustrating to the dieter. For those who can stay on a program like this, they may lose some weight, but as already mentioned quickly regain lost weight plus a few more pounds to boot.

We also defined certain issues on why people could not lose weight effectively:

*Set Point Problems–Research with humans has found that each person has a programmed “set point” This set point works much like a thermostat in your home to maintain constant temperature. But in this case, fat, not temperature, is regulated. It has been postulated that individual fat cells control this set point: when the fat cells become smaller, it sends a message to the brain to eat. Since obese and overweight individuals often have more and larger fat cells, the result is an overpowering urge to eat.  This explains why most diets  don’t work. While the over weight individual can fight off the impulse for a time, eventually the signal becomes too strong to ignore. The result is “rebound overeating,” often exceeding the individuals previous weight. In addition, his or her set point becomes established at an even higher level – making it even more difficult to lose weight.

*Defective Thermogensis-when you attempt to diet, your body works against you by slowing your metabolic rate so you store more of the food you are eating as fat than you would if you were not restricting your caloric intake.

This is part of a built in program that protects people from starvation if food supplies become scarce. This is one reason why, when you go “off” a diet, you quickly accumulate more fat because the body is programmed to think another diet might strike at any time.  So your  set point “signals” your body to eat.

This is similar to retaining fluids as mentioned above. Only in this case, your metabolism slows down. Again, very frustrating to the dieter.

And we talked about the key to real weight loss a process called “thermogensis”  which means “the generation of heat” To increase body temperature, the cells have to burn calories to make heat. And the major fuel for generating heat is fat. Thermogensis is a normal physiological process that serves two functions:

1) To prevent fats consumed at meals  from being stored as “white” fat

2) To burn stored calories  acquired from stored white fat

The result: You lose weight. But more importantly, the weight you lose will be fat. On most diets, weight lost is typically lean tissue and water.

A major issue with losing lean tissue is not only will your body/figure look sloppy, but lean tissue also burns calories even at rest. So less lean tissue, slower fat loss or even more fat retained.

Our program helps to reverse these issues.

1) Thermogenic Activator-this helps support fat loss and produce  a feeling of energizing vitality. It supports your efforts to lose weight and inches. Also as discussed previously,  the genetic mechanisn that helps people stay thin is called “Thermogenesis” This process, however, frequently malfunctions and causes excess caloric storage as “white fat”

However, when this defect is corrected by a process known as “thermogenic reactivation” thermogenic capacity is not only restored, but may continue to increase.

Me at 188 lbs after reactivating thermogenic factors.  And only after using this program for three weeks. Dropping from 212 lbs.  Thermogensis is for real folks! When you use the right products.

Research has focused reactivating the Brown Fat (thermogenesis) by the administration of certain natural botanical factors and nutrients which safely stimulate that part of the nervous system responsible for controlling brown fat. This is the basis of our fat burner product, a unique synergy of thermogenic plant materials and coactive  thermogenic nutrient catalysts.  Combined, very small amounts of these thermogenic  substances formed what can be viewed  as a essentially new compound with a thermogenic action which is substantially greater than that produced by any of the individual herbs in a like amount. This serves to keep the chances of side effects to a bare minimum while maximizing thermogenesis.

THE ANSWER>>>>>>

A breakthrough program overcoming the primary factors that cause you to gain weight. A successful program for  losing excessive body fat is consistent with the basic tenets of holistic health and counteracts each of the previously discussed primary factors which are responsible which are responsible for being overweight. All components are critical and interrated, creating a system where no single component is more important than another. Improvement is one facet that may be enough to result  in some positive changes, but impacting all three yields the greatest weight loss results.

This system is a synergy of four powerful products that includes and exclusive fat burning menu using real foods. It includes the use of sugar free gelatin, a well designed assortment of food flavorings, liquids, a variety of meat, fish and poultry, fruits, salad materials and thermic vegetables. Thermic vegetables are those that promote rapid weight loss because they consume more calories than they contain.

The Thermogenic product is one of four products in our system. Other parts include (2)  a total colon and body cleanser,  (3) a bio-genetically designed meal replacement containing correct macronutrients in a time released formula and (4) a fat blocker and cellulite reducer. This latter product gives fat a one way ticket out of your body. It is your best friend and fat and cellulite worst enemy.

Finally there are thermic vegetables which cause your body to burn more calories than what they contain while providing necessary vitamins, minerals and other nutrients to your body while on a reduced calorie diet program. Talk about WIN/WIN!!

I have tried many diet programs. This one has been a joy to be on. Feel  great. Eat real foods and get rapid results. Doesn’t get any better than this.

Why Diets Don’t Work. Part 1 by Tony DeFrancisco

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-diets-dont-work-how-really-lose-much-10-lbs-days-keep-tony?trk=prof-post

Dieting has become almost a national pastime. Talk to anyone at any given time and they will tell you they are on or going on a diet. Look at any women’s magazine. You will see articles on the most popular diet of the day. Turn on tv and more ads on weight loss and diets. It goes on and on.

I am sure everyone understands that being overweight, aside from being unsightly is extremely unhealthy. Every excess pound of fat requires 4,000 feet of blood vessels to nourish. It has been determined that we will die 6 months to a 1 year sooner for every excess pound of weight.

Indeed. Excess body fat is one of the most challenging  health conditions of our day.  Although no one wants to be overweight, only 5% of obese individuals  are ever able to attain and maintain “normal” body weight.

Recent estimates show that at least  50% of the adult population is clinically overweight—and the number of obese children has doubled in the last 36 years with no sign of slowing down.  As a result more than 50 million Americans can be found dieting . But the wisdom of so called dieting  has come into question. Studies at weight loss centers in medical clinics show that most people almost always regain the weight they lose

Medical research has discovered the primary factors that are responsible for excessive fat gain and the inability to lose those stored pounds of excess fat. And now there is a weight loss program, scientifically designed that helps your body to shed even those hard to lose pounds once and for all.

http://superfitness.firstfitness.com/index.php?pg=weight_loss

Excessive fatness often begins early in childhood. And if this occurs, chances of being constantly overweight in adult life are three time greater compared to children of normal body weight. Simply stated, a child goes not grow out of a obesity problem. Excessive fatness also develops slowly during the adult years. Middle aged men and women invariably weigh more than their college  aged counterparts of the same height. In the western world the average 35 year old gains between 0.2 and 0.8. kg of fat each year despite a progressive decrease in food. From age 25 to 35 the average man’s waistline increases 6 inches.

Many experts seem to agree on a new viewpoint on obesity. Until recently, the major cause of being chronically overweight was believed to be over eating. If this were the case, however,  excessive body fat could easily be eliminated as a major debilitator of health just by cutting back on portions of food. But this is not the case. There are obviously other factors at work such as genetic code, environmental  challenges and social influences.

Research has isolated some key factors which significantly contribute to being overweight. They are “set point ”  problems, hyperinsulin secretion, defective brown fat thermogensis and toxic body  and bowel conditions. It is important to remember that these factors overlap and interact with each other along with other factors which contribute to someone being excessively overweight.

These problems are as follows:

When you eat, three things can happen to your food calories:

1)They can supply you with the your body’s energy needs;

2) They can be stored away as “white” fat; or

3) They can be burned up by special cells of the body known as brown fat.

This latter process is called “thermogensis”  which means “the generation of heat” To increase body temperature, the cells have to burn calories to make heat.

Unfortunately, aging, obesity and poor genetics can impair your thermogenic capacities. Your “sudden” weight gain–and your difficulty for losing weight–may be the result of your shut down of the brown fat thermogenic mechanism. So, no matter, what you do, the weight remains or increases.

*Toxic Body and Bowel Conditions–Many studies show that the bowels produce poisons which are carried to other regions of the body and cause a variety of problems including excess weight and difficulty in weight loss. A toxic body produces endotoxins, which play a role in damaging the liver and makes losing fat even more difficult. A key cause of a toxic bowel is the normal American diet of high fat, low fiber, refined “junk” foods and simple sugars. The typical American consumes only a fraction of the required fibers for a healthy colon and the resultant ability to eliminate body waste. Plus, our gastro intestinal tract may harbor a wide assortment of pathogenic microorganisms, which include various parasites and yeasts.

Candida Albicans, for example, is a common, yeast like fungus found inside and outside all living things. It is present on skin surfaces and covers the internal mucosal surfaces  of the entire alimentary tract. Candida is also found in women’s vaginas and in the blood of most people regardless of gender. When Candida yeast cells are rapidly killed off by the immune system or    drug treatment, a “die off” (or Herxheimer) reaction occurs.

Dying yeasts release a massive amount of toxic proteins that cross cell membranes, enter the bloodstream, and trigger intense irritations and discomfort. Yeast survives by eating sugars. As a result, the discomfort due to this die-off reaction may cause an infected individual to overeat  sugars and refined carbohydrates to nourish yeast and stop the Candida die-off reaction. As mentioned before, the consumption of pancreatic insulin that pushed fat into cells thereby causing weight gain and preventing the cells from shrinking.

The liver which is the largest organ in the body, is responsible for turning many toxic materials into non toxic, usable substances. But our liver can also become damaged by the very toxins it is designed to break down. Research has shown that liver functions are  disturbed in many overweight individuals. A damaged liver prevents the conversion of thyroid gland hormones (master regulators of metabolic rate) into their active form. These hormones are required to activate muscles and brown fat thermogenesis in order to burn up calories. , lose storedfat and to prevent gaining excess fat .

Staying Fit when you are 60+ By Tony DeFrancisco

Anyone can tell you, the older you get, the harder it is to stay in shape and God forbid if you have let yourself go, getting back into shape can seem an impossibility.

Some people feel that there is an age limit on keeping fit. I hear it all the time:

* You still lifting weights?”

*You still workout?”

“You still taking food supplements?”

My answer to all the above is always an emphatic YES! And I usually reply with:

“Do you still shower everyday?”

“Do you still brush your teeth everyday?”

People many times look at me like I am eating spiders or something. Exercise, good nutrition and supplementation should be a daily routine like your daily hygiene duties.

In fact, as you get older, it is even more important. Miss a workout. Let your diet go and it ever harder to get back on track.

I’m 64 years old and still strive to workout at least 3-4 times per week and take supplements every day.

When you get older, especially past the big 6-0 get ready for some changes and take a different approach to  your training.  Recovery does take longer so it more necessary than ever to listen to your body. If you are excessively sore, take a few days off or change your exercise regime. If you are too sore to lift weights, try swimming or cycle on the lifecyle. The treadmill is one of my favorites, and even though low impact, can cause a sore back, knees and feet especially when you go for 40 mins to an hour as I do.

Warmups are more critical than ever. My favorite mantra has always been,

“”If you don’t have time to warmup, you don’t have time to workout.”

Especially when using weights, start extremely light with a weight you can lift 10-12 reps very easily.

Stretching before and inbetween sets is also vital. Stretch the shoulders and chest inbetween bench presses and other chest exercises. Stretch your thighs and hamstrings before and inbetween leg exercises.  Do full range of motion exercises, going from a complete extension to a complete contraction. No partial moves unless they are done at the end of a set as in burns and along with full range movements.

Stretching exercises should be done slowly, never bob into a stretch.  You should also stretch on your days off from training. Will help facilitate recovery.

Cardio exercise is especially vital as we age. To me the best cardio exercises are walking on a treadmill doing interval training. That is, I raise my heart rate to a high but safe level for my age but increasing the incline and speed of the treadmill, hold it for three minutes or so and then bring it back down by lowering the height of the treadmill and dropping the speed untill my heart rate drops. I stay at this level for 5 mins or so and then raise my heart rate again. I do this repeatedly for 40 mins to 1 hour.

CAUTION: Always be sure to taper off from the treadmill and bring your heart rate down to a very low rate before engaging in any other exercise.

The lifecycle can be handled in a similiar way. Start off slow and easy and increase the resistance untill  you are really peddling. Monitor and watch your heart rate carefully keeping it at a high but safe rate for your age. Use interval training and taper off.

I created what I call the “Ironman Routine” not to be confused with the competition by the same name. In my routine I go from one aerobic exercise to another non stop for an hour and a half. I start with the treadmill for 40 mins then go to the seated rower for 20 mins, then to the lifecycle for 30 mins and finish off with the stair stepper for however long I can stand it. As mentioned above, be sure to lower your heart rate before going to the next exercise. You don’t want to keep your heart rate high for an hour and  half non stop. Taper off at the end of each exercise. The important thing is time. Go for an hour and half non stop. But watch your heart rate and work up to this over time. Start off with whatever is comfortable. No weekend warriors here. please.

The next step is nutrition. Eat balanced meals with lots of veggies include fruits. Choose lean meats like chicken and other lean high protein foods like fish. And drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. Buy bottled water. By now everyone should know this.

Supplements are vital. Don’t think you can get all the nutrition you need from regular foods. A good high protein shake is vital either as a meal replacement or as a supplement.  Be wary of some products being sold as meal replacements. Some are just cheap dried milk with artificial sweeteners. The one I use contains whey protein, is packed with vitamins and minerals and contains herbs and can be mixed with water.

Many people use meal replacements that are mixed with milk and many of those same people have allergies to milk. When they have adverse reactions, they feel they can’t use meal replacements. Not so. They can’t use meal replacements that require the use of milk. The one I use can be mixed with water and tastes like a delicious, frothy shake.

The product I use also contains enzymes to h elp break down the protein in the shake. This is another problem area for many people. Also, the product I recommend contains essential oils and up to 85% of the daily requirement for trace minerals and vitamins. This is truly a meal replacement. It is a shake that feeds like a steak only without the fat and calories and contains as many minerals as a huge salad.  Plus fiber and carbs. It is a complete meal.  Be wary of meal replacements that are just high protein or just high carb/fiber. You need a balance.

As you pass the big 6-0 and even before, digestants are essential. Besides the shake, I also use digestants to  help break down and assimiliate nutrition from the regular foods I eat. By the way, females past age 40 especially if they had multiple pregnancies really have a storng need for digestants. Their bodies are not producing enzymes.

A good  vitamin and mineral supplement is also vital. Notice I said good. Like shakes, many supplements are not that good, just low quality stuff using cheap ingredients. Be careful what you use.

Another factor is utilization. Because of prior eating habits, many people are not absorbing nutrients from the foods we eat. Inside our bodies are little finger like  protrusions called “villi”. Over time the villi gets clogged and our bodies do not absorb the good quality nutrients we eat. Therefore we need a good cleansing.

It has been said that a 40 year old is storing up to 25 lbs of undigested red meat in our colons. What do you think a 60 year old may be storing? And what do you think is happening inside our bodies with all of that stored junk?

I am using a special product that provides soluable fiber and cleanses the colon removing all of that undigested junk and other toxins stored in the body. Just eating high fiber foods won’t do the job. You need soluable fiber that scrubs the colon and intestinal system.

These simple tips will make a huge difference in how you feel. Use them.
